Full length seated view of a man wearing a vest and a hat. Possibly a shepherd and his dog?  The black &  white dog lays contentedly by the man’s side, with his master’s arm around him. Very fine condition; contrast somewhat light. Lower edge of mount is slightly unevenly trimmed. BM: DARNELL’S / PHOTOGRAPHIC STUDIO, / CUMBERLAND, MD.”  In period ink on reverse is, “William Harrison”. In modern pencil is “shepard w/dog”.   [ld]
