CDV is a three-quarter seated view of a Union medical officer. He wears a dark frock coat with 1st Lieutenant of staff shoulder straps with very clear letters “MS” in the rank field. Coat also has three-piece brass buttons. Subject also wears matching dark trousers with a thin light leg stripe.
Contrast and clarity are excellent as is the paper and mount.
