CDV shows a soldier seated wearing a dark commercial sack coat with matching dark military vest and trousers. The coat is open and his watchchain is visible. There are no chevrons on his sleeves and no shoulder straps but the trousers do have a thin light leg stripe.
The woman standing beside him rests both her hands on the soldier’s shoulder. She wears a light-colored dress and matching jacket with a while blouse beneath.
Image is clear with good contrast. Mount and paper are nice.
Reverse has photographer’s imprint for L. THOMPSON…NORWICH, CONN. There is also some collector information in pencil. [ad]
