Crystal clear CDV shows a seated Union soldier wearing a dark frock coat and matching dark trousers. The coat appears to be free of any cuff piping.
Standing next to the soldier and resting one hand on his shoulder is a woman wearing a dark dress and a white shirt under a dark jacket with black trim down the front and on the cuffs. Her hair looks to be gathered in a dark snood.
Image has excellent clarity and contrast. Mount and paper are clean.
Reverse is blank. [ad]
