This is a waist-up view of a Militia soldier wearing a light colored jacket with epaulets and forage cap.

Image is clear with good contrast.

Image comes housed in full gutta-percha case, which is in very good condition. One of the hinges is slightly loose. Case is lined in burgundy colored velvet with an embossed design. Decorative brass mat surrounds the image.
