This is a seated view of a woman who is wearing a lovely silk dress with pagoda sleeves. She has white undersleeves and scalloped collar with brooch.
Image is clear with very good contrast. Some light oxidation has occurred.
Image comes housed in full gutta-percha case, which is in very good condition. Case is lined in dark purple velvet which has an embossed design. Decorative brass mat surrounds the image. [SM]
