This full gutta percha case houses images of two lovely young girls. Image on left is a waist-up view of a girl wearing a light colored dress and hat with a bow tied on the side by her cheek. Image on right is waist-up view of a younger girl wearing an off the shoulder dress with dark colored trim. She is wearing matching bracelets and long necklace. She appears to have a hair net on with decorative ribbons. Written in ink on a slip of paper underneath the image on the right is, "Mother at school".

Image is clear with good contrast. Light oxidation is present.

Images are housed in full gutta percha case with patriotic design of a soldier’s tent, cannon, cannon balls and U.S. flag. Case is in very good condition with light wear and a few very small chips. Decorative brass mats surround images. Hinges are tight.  [sl]
