Image is of a seated soldier wearing a dark commercial pattern four button sack coat with horizontal pocket on right chest. The coat is buttoned only at the throat exposing his white shirt and the lower portion of a dark bowtie. He also wears light trousers. Sitting next to him, almost in his lap, is a long-haired dog.
Image has good clarity and contrast and is mounted in a CDV sized mount with a stamped oval frame.
The paper backing that holds the tin to the mount is starting to come loose at the top. [ad]
