Stereo view of General Winfield Scott Hancock with at least six other men and one young boy visiting the High Water Mark on the Gettysburg battlefield. The General wears a dark suit and overcoat and a black broad brimmed hat with a high blocked crown. The boy next to him wears nickers and a kepi.
Stereo card is in good condition. The image is mounted on yellow stock and lacks any mark or caption on the front.
Reverse has period ink inscription that reads “GENERAL HANCOCK AND PARTY AT COPSE OF TREES 1885. #281.” [ad]
