This lot of relics contains an almost complete Model 1858 New York Depot canteen. The body of the canteen is crushed with the imprint of a wagon wheel through the center. The body is rusted severely but it is holding together with 4 or 5 small holes. All three sling keepers and the spout are present.
Also in the lot are 4 12lb iron canister balls. Each has some light rust and meas. approx. 1.50 inches across. There is also a Model 1842 musket tool, 2 large shell fragments, 12 fired bullets and 4 drops.
There is no location of recovery and all the items come in a nice wood display box.
