(Tice ORD200B3, Albert’s OC3) Button size is approx. 21mm. Face is dark. Device has crossed cannons below a bursting bomb. One cannon barrel has a “U” while the “S” on the other barrel is faint. Face and rim are in good condition with no cracks or dents. Back has matching dark patina and a complete shank. Shank is slightly bent. Backmark is “US ORDNANCE CORPS.” Some of the lettering is hard to read due to the patina and a build up of dirt. Most of it is readable. Old, typed paper label reads “ORDNANCE UNIFORM BUTTONS NICKJACK CREEK NEAR ATLANTA, GA. (SHERMAN’S MARCH) FOUND IN 1973.”
