Dug remains of a breast plate found in September 1974, which bears the scars of its age; portion missing at upper left edge, reverse has no hooks.  With the item is digger's typewritten tag that reads “Cartridge Box Sling / Plate found on the / Spotsylvania, Va. / Battlefield-9/74.”
