This crushed canteen looks to be complete. Despite being run over by something and being rusted by years in the ground the piece looks complete except for the spout. The edges have folded over one side when it was run over but two of the sling keepers are visible and both sides look to be intact.
With the canteen is an old typed label that reads “CONFEDERATE CANTEEN SPOTSYLVANIA MARCH 1976.”
