This relic is approx. ¾ of a brass Enfield triggerguard. The brass is slightly discolored from age.
This item was recovered at Cedar Mountain which was the site of a battle between Stonewall Jackson’s Confederates and Union forces under Nathaniel Banks. Relics from this site are not often encountered.
