Plate is in good relic condition. The face is heavily discolored from ground action but the “US” is clearly visible. The face and edge are free of any cracks.
The reverse has 100% of the lead fill both arrow hooks and tongue. The tongue is slightly bent and there is still a small piece of leather stuck under the arrow hooks. Ground action has discolored the surface of the lead.
Across the top edge of the back of the plate is “STAFFORD COURT HOUSE” in black magic marker or heavy ink pen.
