Excavated M-1855 bayonet for a .58 caliber rifle musket. Dug in 1995 in the Union 12th Corps lines at Chancellorsville. This is in rusty “dug” condition and the socket is still cover in dirt. Needs to be cleaned and coated but is solid. A nice relic.  [JET]
