Brass Schenkl percussion fuse plug. No slider, safety screw, or lead ring in the base. Anvil cap does unscrew from the body. Otherwise good, clean condition, with only minor surface dings. The head is flanged and rounded, measuring about 1 ¼” in diameter. The entire fuse plug measures approximately 2 ½” in length, and is threaded about ¾” down the body. Very clean, with a dark brass patina on the body; the anvil cap has a dark greenish patina. [JT]
