This shell was once part of the DuBose Collection of Atlanta, Georgia. The surface has been slightly cleaned and varnished. The projectile was a ground burst with over half of the shell still remaining. One fragment of the shell has been glued back to the rest of the shell with a perfect fit.

It is rare for a poly cavity to have a Bormann fuse.    [WS]
