Standard brass Schenkl percussion fuse plug. No slider, safety screw, or lead ring in the base. Anvil cap does not unscrew. Otherwise good condition, with only minor surface dings. The patent information is clearly imprinted on the flanged head, although it is off-center, with part of the date “1861” getting lost in the screwdriver slot. The head measures about 1 3/8” in diameter. The entire fuse plug measures approximately 2 ½” in length, and is threaded just under an inch down the body. [JT]
