Excavated ramrod from a Model 1854 Austrian Lorenz rifle that was recovered at Appomattox. Ramrod only. Ramrod features “tulip” end with integral brass band and small hole running through.  Measures 37” long. No threads remaining at end. Rusted and in relic condition but has been cleaned, coated and is well preserved.  Interesting relic from the last days of the Civil War.  [jet]
