Here is a piece of wood containing a fired Civil War bullet, the remains of a tree that was in the line of fire during the Battle of Chancellorsville, Virginia.  The piece measures about 3 ¾” long by 1 ½” at its widest point. The bullet is centered in the wood with a perfect view of the conical cavity. The piece of wood is solid and stable.  A great relic from the Confederate victory at Chancellorsville.  [jet]
