Here is a piece of wood containing a fired Civil War bullet, the remains of a tree that was in the line of fire during the Battle of Fredericksburg, Virginia. The piece measures about 5” long by 1 ½” at its widest point. The bullet is centered in the wood. The piece of wood is solid and stable. A great relic from the fighting at Fredericksburg.  [jet]
