RELIC MODEL 1851 NCO SWORD BELT PLATE FROM HALLTOWN, WV

$145.00 SOLD

Quantity Available: None

Item Code: R22792

Excavated Civil War era non-commissioned officer’s belt buckle. Cast brass eagle buckle with all of the applied German silver wreath missing. This wreath may have melted off as the buckle looks like it could have been in a fire. The buckle has a dark patina with a black overall tinge. This has the narrow ½ inch wide hook on back. The detail of the eagle remains good.  Recovered at Halltown, West Virginia.  [jet]
