Recovered one mile from Marye’s Heights at the old stone wall. A fired wrought iron sabot with chipping along the fuse hole and a crack that runs from the nose section for approx. 5 inches. Lightly cleaned and varnished. Remains of the zinc Parrott fuse adapter. Location of recovery nicely painted on the projectile. Stands approx. 9 ½” tall. Found early 1970’s. [ws]
