This is a nice excavated Civil War cannon ball. Iron cannon ball complete with “punched” Bormann fuse. Iron is in good condition with a pitted surface…typical of an excavated iron relic. The iron is stable and has been cleaned and coated. The fuse remains in decent condition considering this round was fired. The fuse was “punched” at about the 4 second mark. The numbers and lines remain lightly visible. The shell has been unloaded and is safe. A great Civil War artillery relic. [jet]
