Beautiful, excavated half of a Confederate officer’s waist belt plate recovered in the northern Virginia/Washington, DC area. This is the “wreath” portion which would accept a central “tongue” with raised letters “CS”.

Excellent “dug” condition with laurel leaf motif and complete belt loop. Gutter back.  [jet]
