CONFEDERATE RECTANGULAR “CSA” WAIST BELT PLATE

$2,750.00

Quantity Available: 1

Item Code: 33-250

This rare and original Confederate brass waist belt plate is the coveted CSA Atlanta Arsenal pattern rectangular belt plate. Plate was recovered in 1960 near Spotsylvania Court House.

Constructed in the sand-cast mold process, this handsome Southern accouterment measures approximately 46 x 68 mm and has acquired a dark patina. The cast, raised letters “C.S.A.” are centered on the plate and are smooth and sharp. Brass belt hooks were cast straight then hammered over. All three hooks are strong and intact. [jet]
