Excavated iron lockplate from a Model 1861 rifle musket. Lockplate without hammer, but all inner components. Relic is pitted but has been cleaned and coated. Mainspring and all inner parts are present. Mainspring is broken and may be the reason this was discarded. Good detail remains on inner parts. [jet]
