A solid piece of pine measuring 9” long by 3” wide by 3” high. Wood is solid with no rot. One end features an entry hole with the bullet just visible on next side. A second bullet is partially visible on the opposite end. There is not enough of either bullet visible to determine its type.
An old paper label is tacked to the block of wood. In pen & ink it reads, “War Relic from Spotsylvania C.H. Battle field, V.a.” [jet]
