This type of time fuse was manufactured in Federal arsenals. Made of white metal, a mixture of lead and zinc. Double wrench slot, the Bormann fuse had a burn time of .75 seconds to 5.5 seconds. The middle slot exhibits the Bormann Fuse wrench impression. A fine Bormann fuse, unpunched. Some numbers visible. Recovered in Richmond.  [ws]
