Complete oval Pattern 1839 US belt plate.

Face has a chocolate patina with some light discoloration from ground action. The face has an upward bend near the letter “S” and a few minor freeze cracks along the edge.

The back of the plate has 100% of the lead fill. Both “puppy-paw” posts and tongue are present.

Plate was recovered at Cedar Creek.  [ad]
