This grouping features five relic brass pieces to musical instruments. It is uncertain whether they are all part of the same instrument. One piece is a valve that measures .75 diameter and nearly 2 inches long. Another bent piece measures 7.5 inches long. A straight piece measures 6 inches long. A smaller piece measures 1.5 inches long. The final piece measures 5 inches long and is split along the seam. The original digger's typed tag reads "Parts of musical instruments Caroline Co., Va. Confederate Camp May 1971."
