Hat has an OD wool top with a ribbed khaki cloth base. Visor and chinstrap are of a light brown leather. Chinstrap is anchored by two dark buttons that bear a spread-winged eagle. Attached to the front of the hat is a bronze colored spread-winged eagle holding arrows and laurel branches.
Exterior has light to moderate surface dirt. Top of the crown has three good size sweat or oil stains at center. The body of the hat has two tiny moth bites on one side.
Interior has a complete leather sweatband that shows wear from use. The crown has an oilcloth lining.
Hat has a very nice look to it. [ad]
