Each strap has a single border of gold bullion thread that has oxidized with age giving an alternating gold/silver appearance. The border is outlined with both an inner and outer jaceron border of dead bullion. The rank field is done in black wool to denote Staff service. Each field has bars done in silver bullion thread to denote rank.

The back of these straps are covered with thin black leather and are marked in gold stamping “BENT & BUSH, BOSTON.”

Straps do show light wear on one border but no mothing.  [ad]
