12"x12" flag on 32" wooden stick. Very nice condition.
This flag was one of several purchased in 1962 by the 13th Virginia Regiment Chapter #441, United Daughters of the Confederacy of Orange County, Virginia. These flags were used to decorate the graves of unknown Confederate soldiers at Graham Cemetery in Orange, VA, and were retired after Memorial Day, 2002. Proceeds from the sales of the flags were used to restore the Confederate monument in Orange, VA.
Each flag is accompanied by a notecard stating the above information, and is signed by Arlene H. Kube, Custodian, 13th Virginia Regiment Chapter #441.
