Framed banner from the 75th anniversary of the battle of Antietam, held in September of 1937. Image in center shows the U.S. and Confederate flags in the background with shaking hands, symbolizing the reunification of the country.
Banner is made of muslin. Shows light surface dirt, yellowing and spotting in areas. Blue and red colors remain vibrant and bright. Measures 24 ½’ wide x 36 ½’ high. Reverse has mount for hanging. [ad]
