Attractive reunion ribbon from the United Confederate Veterans. Yellow ribbon measures 2 ½” wide x 6 ¼” long with an additional 1 ½” long silver bullion tassels sewn to the bottom. Crisply printed in silver is “WHEELER’S CAVALRY / CAMP A / ORGANIZED 1899”.
A 2” long white ribbon is mounted atop the other. Suspended from the bottom of this is a 1 ¾” diameter celluloid button with the image of a mounted officer.
No pin or other type of attachment device is present. Minor spotting on yellow ribbon, otherwise piece is in very fine condition. Comes in wood display case. [jet]
