Blue ribbon measures 2” wide x 6” long with 1 ½” long gold bullion fringe sewn to the bottom. Printed on the ribbon in gold ink is, “V.M.I. / REUNION OLD CADETS / Unveiling / New Market Monument / June 23, 1903”.

Three smaller ribbons (red, white, yellow) are attached at the top. All ribbons are fastened together by a cuff sized VMI cadet button.

A strip of tin supports the top of the badge and has a 2” stickpin attached to the back. Also on the back is the paper label for the Baltimore Badge & Novelty Company.

Badge is in very good condition save a single hole in the blue ribbon to the right of the top line of printing: “V.M.I.”   [jet]
