Thin, stamped white metal eagle with spread wings at top. Below is the eagle is a bar with crossed swords and stacked cannonball designs. A small US flag ribbon is suspended from the middle of the bar. Attached to the ends of the bar is a post-Civil War metallic cartridge. The primer is spent. The head stamps are “F 8 94.” On the back of the metal eagle is scratched “1897.”
