Every GAR post had different offices that members could hold. This badge was worn by the Quartermaster Sergeant of a Post. It was his job to use Post funds to supply items needed for Post functions. Top of badge is Quartermaster of Infantry chevrons. US flag on blue ribbon with standard GAR star.
