Program reads, “ONE FOR ALL, ALL FOR ONE / CHRISTMAS ENTERTAINMENT OF THE 28TH REGIMENT PENNA. VOL’S. (COL. JOHN W. GEARY,) / CAMP GOODMAN, POINT OF ROCKS, MD.” Following this are the lists of musical entertainment and skits, mostly performed by the members of the unit.

The name, “Wm. L. Hirst” is inscribed on the cover, and again on the back of program.

Program measures 10 ½” x 16”. Shows fold creases, a few chips on edges, and yellowing from age. Paper was originally folded in half, but is now laminated.

The 28th Pennsylvania Infantry was organized in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for a three-year enlistment and mustered in June 28, 1861 under the command of Colonel John W. Geary.  [SL]
