The top bar has a relief of Faneuil Hall with a scroll above it that reads “PHILADELPHIA” and one below that reads “MEMBER.”

Suspended from the bar is a red, white and blue ribbon approx. 2.00 x 1.25. Also suspended from the top bar is a white metal Liberty Bell.

The bottom drop consists of a bar with a red, white and blue “GAR” in a wreath flanked by “SEPT. 1899.” At the very bottom is shield with the seal for the city of Philadelphia surmounted by a spread-winged eagle superimposed over crossed enamel colored US and Pennsylvania state flags and the words “33RD NATIONAL ENCAMPMENT.”  [ad]
