Top hangar is made of brass framed celluloid. Image in center is a G.A.R. membership badge, surrounded by the words, "GRAND ARMY OF THE REPUBLIC". Original pin is on reverse. Suspended from this are two ribbons. Longer ribbon is black silk with silver lettering that reads, "JOHNSON POST. NO. 25 / G.A.R. WORCESTER, N.Y." Shorter ribbon is ivory silk with no lettering. Displayed over ivory ribbon is a red, white and blue silk ribbon with a single link holding a celluloid button.  This shows a colorful image of three Union soldiers by an artillery piece and U.S. flag.

Measures 8" long by 2.5" wide. Item is in very good condition with no fraying.  [sl]
