Top bar has US Capital on front and the date “Oct. 6, 1902.” Pin on back. Gold ribbon with silver lettering that reads “NATL. ASSN. U. EX. P OF W.” Ribbon has moderate fraying at bottom. Suspended from the ribbon is a circular medal with “GAR” at top and “36th NATIONAL ENCAMPMENT” around the edge. At center is the association logo of a prisoner being attacked by a dog inside a stockade with a cannon in each corner pointing toward the prisoner.
