Badge has a brass bar-bell shaped top bar with a pin on back. Suspended from the top bar is a white ribbon with full color printing of a GAR Membership badge at the lower right and a representation of another GAR badge with an Ohio State seal at upper left. Script lettering reads “DEPARTMENT OF OHIO G.A.R.-25^th NATIONAL ENCAMPMENT DETROIT 1891.”

Ribbon has some light wear and light to moderate surface dirt.
