This service blouse is a size 39 Long and is dated 1941. Each sleeve has green woven Sergeant Stripes on a black backing. The collar insignia are matching screw backed “US” and Ordnance discs and above the left breast pocket are ribbons for Good Conduct, American Theater and World War Two Victory. The left shoulder has a 3rd Air Force patch that is nicely sewn with “x” stitching. All buttons are present. The blouse has 2 or 3 scattered tiny moth bites.
During World War Two the 3rd Air Force was responsible for all air activity in the southeastern United States.
