Original German elite unit sleeve insignia worn by members of the 1st Fallschirmjäger Regiment; the 1st Paratrooper Regiment was attached to the 7th Flieger-Division (1939 – 1943) and the 1st Fallschirmjäger Division (1943 – 1945). Perhaps the most famous German airborne unit of World War II, the regiment was conspicuous in the campaigns against Norway, Belgium, France, Crete, Russia, Sicily, and Italy. This cufftitle has been removed from a uniform. It is in excellent condition.
