Dated August 26, 1918. Double-sided broadside measuring 3.75 x 7.5, matted in light brown, mounted in double-sided frame. Notice is lightly wrinkled, else VG and entirely legible.

The notice informs every man between 18 and 45 of the obligation to register for the draft, excepting those already registered—under the pain of “one year imprisonment, and No man can exonerate himself by the payment of a fine.” Equally interesting is a the statement that “Your country is engaged in a just and holy war."
