This badge is uncommon and was only issued to elite Austrian Stormtroopers of special assault units in 1917-1918.

The badge is made of stamped medal with a skull in a sunburst at center surrounded by an oak leaf wreath at bottom and the word “STURMTRUPP” at top. The bottom of the oak leaf wreath is supported by crossed stick grenades.

Reverse has the original vertical pin.

The badge was manufactured by Ulbricht of Vienna.

Item is in excellent condition with original finish.
