Brooch is made of a heavy brass covered in gilt paint in the shape of an officer’s visor hat with crossed rifles on the top and spread-winged eagle on the front.
The underside of the item has a pin attached to its base. The baseplate is hinged and opens to reveal the picture of a woman in a yachting hat.
